Hi All!
For all you snake lovers I have a question that I would love an answer to. I have several small red bellied brown snakes on the property and I have noticed that a few of them will freak out and die while others seem fine. I don't see them unless I get too close the them with the mower. The garter snakes just move out of the way and are not phased by my mower. Are they that sensitive? Please could someone out there let me know if they are that sensitive. I may not like snakes, but I would NEVER hurt one. They keep the slugs in check. They are a great bonus to the garden.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Well I just wanted to get that out there, I have to get back to work. I have a big show this weekend.
Have a great day everyone
Wouldn't it be nice to sweep in and know the answer!
ReplyDeleteDon't even have snakes in my garden.
Don't even have slow-worms.
Don't even have lizards except when the cats bring them.
It must be wonderful to have such interesting wildlife living so close.
