This is a Rosette Spoonbill. The bird is both beautiful and not so beautiful. The red eye makes the bird seem a little odd. Just the same the bird is striking.
I am still editing photos, and it is taking longer that I had hoped. I have had to do alot of errands the past few days, but I expect to get alot accomplished this weekend. So back to work I go. Have a great weekend all!
I'm impressed that you're already sharing your new images. They look great! I can't wait to see more. Thanks for being such a great travel companion. It sure will be BORING next winter traveling the civilized way, in hotels n'all. I'm sure we can still make it fun though. Keep up the great work!
